Quittin' Time

October 14, 2011

It's Friday afternoon and I'm getting ready to close up shop for the day. I haven't posted anything in a long while so I decided to write something quick before I head home.

A lot of you have sent messages, asking if I'm writing anything new and when will it be published. The answer to the first question is a definite yes. I have been working on a new story for a while now. It's not finished yet, but I'm getting there. Since it's not yet finished, though, I can't tell you when it will be published, but please bear with me. Pazienza!

Meantime, I hope you all had a great Columbus Day weekend. The weather in Narragansett was spectacular, warm and breezy. Nice as it was, I'm hankering now for the chillier weather to start settling in. It's getting near time to lay in a load of firewood and get ready to hunker down for the winter. I'm looking forward to it; it's when I usually do my best writing. Stay tuned.

Meantime, have the best weekend you've ever had!

Anxiously waiting for your next book! I really love the artwork on the covers of your books. Will George Angelini be doing the next cover also?

I read all your books and LOVE them because of my Italian heritage and love of family and friends. Recently went tomato picking in Bradenton, Florida with long lost cousins. Getting in touch with the good old childhood days was refreshing (of course the trip to the winery afterwards added flavor to the day!

I'm a new fan here in Oregon. Two summers ago my wife and I visited Tuscany and we took along your book, Home to Italy. Loved it (and Tuscany of course). I just completed Francesco's Kitchen and now ordered Villa Mirabella. You've become one of my favorite authors.
