Take Five...or more if you can

December 16, 2013

Is it just me or are the days till Christmas flying back faster than you can say "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"? It seems I'm always in a hurry this time of year, so I decided today that I would try to slow things down just a little and take time to appreciate what the season is all about.

That resolution lasted about five minutes before I was right back in the thick of it. That's okay, though, because it was a good five minutes, and sometimes that's all it takes.

So, if things are getting crazy for you and yours, my advice is to take a deep breath and then take five, more if you can get it. But don't worry if you can't, the Christmas Spirit just needs the tiniest of openings to squeeze its way in!

Thanks to all for the nice comments about "The Glassblower's Apprentice"!
